LSH Standards accreditation
What is accreditation?
Accreditation means being officially recognised, accepted or approved of. Achieving accreditation demonstrates that a criteria has been met and can give reassurance.
How does accreditation apply to student accommodation?
Accommodation providers can choose to apply to sign up to an accreditation scheme. In doing so they are making a commitment to meeting the requirements of the scheme.
Liverpool Student Homes operates the only accreditation scheme for private student accommodation in Liverpool, called the LSH Standards. When a provider approaches our service to advertise or re-advertise accommodation on the LSH website platform, they agree to follow the requirements of the LSH Standards and become an accredited provider. Where an application for accreditation is accepted, we will grant accreditation to an accommodation provider for a term of 12 months, annually from December 1 each year, and an exclusive benefit of this accreditation is that properties will be advertised on the LSH website, for tenancies within an accreditation cycle.
Below are the documents, which detail all of the requirements that accommodation providers must meet to become accredited and advertise their properties on the LSH website.
